A greater place to visit after breakfast is the Southern museum of Locomotive history. In this must visit landmark you will learn about the collection of artifacts and relics from American civil war and the railroads of the States and Ga.
Your afternoon attraction is Kennesaw mountain National battlefield. But before you head there you must have lunch. There are too many restaurants to mention however if you are in Kennesaw you might as well enjoy a southern meal at Whittle Stop Café. This popular restaurant is always busy and has many option on the menu to choose from and reasonable prices on all. The service is great and the staff is attentive.
Kennesaw Mountain battlefield has many trails to enjoy even if hiking is not your thing. However, if you can hike, Kennesaw Mountain is just over one mile long and is much rewarding once you have reached the top; enjoy the view, take many selfies and a snack.
